The police station for atomic energy and alternative energies (CEA) is a various central organization of central administration (ODAC) of French scientific research in the fields of energy, defense, information and communication technologies, matter sciences, life and health sciences, established on ten sites in France.
The DLR is the German center for aerospace research and technology. In its predilection areas, the DLR develops technologies for aeronautics and space, energy and transport, as well as security and defense research. A wide range of results and innovations benefit industry and businesses, authorities and administration, as well as public stakeholders. The DLR assumes its responsibility vis-à-vis the company by an intensive exchange of knowledge and a targeted technology transfer.
Advanced research on defense and security technologies. The ISL is a binational research institute, jointly managed by the French Defense Innovation Agency (AID) and the German Defense Ministry. The objectives of the ISL are defined by the ministries of the two nations which support it: the DGA (Directorate General of Armaments) in order of the French Ministry of Defense and the BAAINBW (Federal Office of Equipment, Information and Support Technologies in the Bundeswehr service) in order of the German Federal Department of Defense.
